Jacksonville, Fl — A man from Jacksonville was killed in a crash Sunday night on the Buckman Bridge approaching Roosevelt/US 17.
The crash, which happened around 8:40 pm, tied up traffic northbound for hours. Florida Highway Patrol says a 37-year-old man driving an SUV veered to the right and began to overturn. He was thrown from the vehicle and died.
FHP did not identify the driver. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
