There’s a new biopic coming to Lifetime TV about Karen, Dorinda, Twinkie, Denise and Jacky.
The Detroit natives have been in the music industry since the 1960’s.
The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel stars Christina Bell (Twinkie), Kierra Sheard (Karen), Shelea Frazier (Dorinda), Raven Goodwin (Denise) and Angela Birchett (Jacky). See a pic from the film below.⬇
Aunjanue Ellis plays their mother, Mattie Moss Clark.
The film talks about how they “overcame humble beginnings in Detroit, enduring abuse, loss, rejection, betrayal, and sibling rivalries to achieve international fame as icons of the gospel music industry”.
According to an Instagram post the movie airs April 11 on Lifetime TV.
