Fall season is here and Blue Bell has announced a new ice cream flavor that hit the stores last week and I got a chance to sample it and it is worth the HYPE!
“Straight Outta The Oven” and into your freezer is Classic Pecan Pie and this didn’t disappoint as often described as a rich sweet pie with gooey filling pecans that just says “Southern Hospitality” has been converted into ice cream and I got to try it first hand.
Once the email arrived that they were in the building giving out samples I made my way to the break room and awaiting me was a much needed break to remind myself of the simple things in life like “Ice Cream.”
The reps were on hand serving up samples of Classic Pecan Pie composed of rich brown sugar, ice cream, with roasted pecans and pieces of flaky pie crust with a pecan pie filling and by the crowd in the break room everybody was anticipating that first taste.
I patiently waited til my turn and once I got my cup it was well worth the wait as it tasted like pecan pie with ice cream on top. It was so good I had to go back for seconds and thirds....DON’T JUDGE ME!
As the holidays begin to come around this will definitely be a hit at the family gathering or just a treat ‘just because’ it’s Blue Bell.
