There’s a new date for the Verzuz between Ashanti and Keyshia Cole. That date is January 9, 2021.

Everything was set to go down Saturday night until Ashanti tested positive for COVID-19. In an Instagram post Ashanti says she still wanted to go through with the show from her house. However, due to the technical aspects of Verzuz they wouldn’t be able to make it happen.

Keyshia Cole was understanding and was clearly looking out for Ashanti’s health during their IG live Saturday night. She told her to drink plenty of fluids and get some vitamins. Ashanti said she was feeling fine. Both artists said the fans are the reason they got on IG Live. They wanted the fans to know there’s nothing but love between them.

Get well soon, Ashanti!

But there is a Verzuz coming up before Ashanti and Keyshia Cole take center stage. The Verzuz team announced the next battle will be December 19, 2020 between E40 and Too Short. It’s the Battle of the Bay and it starts at 8pm ET.
