November 10, in 1969, ‘Sesame Street’ premiered on PBS.
This show was the first to introduce children to educational goals with sketch comedy, live action, and legendary Muppets that shaped generations to this very day. Premiering back in 1969 Sesame Street is considered one of the greatest television series of all time. You can still relive classic episodes on HBO Max and most recently on Netflix.
November 13, 1982, Men at Work started a 15-week run at No. 1 with their debut album ‘Business as Usual.’
When it comes to Pop Culture from the 1980’s Men at Work is in the conversation as this Australian group came on the scene with their debut album ‘Business as Usual’. The singles “Who Can It Be Now” and “Down Under” are still fan favorites today.
November 15, 1991, Michael Jackson’s “Black or White” video premiered on FOX.
From his eighth studio album ‘Dangerous’ the King of Pop Michael Jackson released his single Black or White which went to number one on the US Billboard Chart in December of 1991 and stayed there for seven weeks. The music video directed by familiar name John Landis who directed Thriller featured Macauly Culkin, Another Bad Creation, Tess Harper and George Wendt. It premiered on MTV, BET, VH1, and Fox with an audience of 500 million viewers. Also, check out the teaser trailer for the biopic of Michael Jackson entitled Michael.
November 14, 1969, the first Wendy’s opened in Columbus, Ohio.
Known for their square patties and frosty Dave Thomas has started this fast-food chain “Wendy’s” named after his fourth child Melinda Lou “Wendy” Thomas. Currently Wendy’s is the third largest hamburger fast-food chain next to McDonald’s and Burger King.

November 15, 1990, Milli Vanilli producer Frank Farian admitted the group was a lip-syncing fraud.
One of the BIGGEST scandals in music history in the late 80’s and early 90’s was the lip-syncing scandal from Rob and Fab otherwise known as Milli Vanilli. During a live performance on MTV a malfunctioning hard drive caused the song “Girl You Know It’s True” to skip. It later exposed that the group didn’t perform their songs and got dropped from their label and got their 1990 Grammy Award taken away.
