Most Popular Thanksgiving Side Dish in Florida

This debate comes up every year. What’s the most popular Thanksgiving side dish in each state?

Award-winning Chef, Graham Elliot recently tweeted a pic of a map with the most popular Thanksgiving sides in each state. The tweet asked a simple question, “do you agree?” This is obviously an important topic because that tweet has raked in more than 18,000 likes, more than 3,000 retweets and more than 24,000 people have responded.

According to Elliot, Florida’s most popular Thanksgiving side dish is sweet potato casserole. The only other state where sweet potato casserole topped the list is, Tennessee.

Maine is alone in the USA with “side salad” being it’s most popular Thanksgiving dish. *Wondering if everyone in Maine is OK*

Mashed potatoes, biscuits, green bean casserole, crescent rolls, rolls, cream corn, corn, white gravy, brown gravy, turkey gravy, cornbread dressing, broccoli casserole, cranberry sauce, stuffing, mac and cheese, hashbrown casserole and deviled eggs are the other popular dishes.

Do you think sweet potato casserole is THE Thanksgiving side dish in the Sunshine State?
