"Stuck" is described as a musical film.
"Stuck, a movie based on the musical stage play by Riley Thomas, is about six strangers, trapped in a subway car, who over the course of the day come to change each other's lives in unexpected ways. Stuck is a move with a simple message about love and compassion and seeing that people, as a whole, are not so very different from one another."
Ashanti plays Eve. Eve is described as an “intelligent and career-oriented African-American” woman.
The movie boasts an interesting and diverse cast that includes Giancarlo Esposito who plays Lloyd and Amy Madigan who portrays the character of Sue.
These two actors alone, in my eyes, make this movie one to watch.
We've seen Esposito in everything from Breaking Bad to The Death Cure. You may remember Madigan from Field of Dreams and even a couple episodes of Criminal Minds where she plays a lost soul in love with a sociopath.
According to Newsday the Foolish singer is also an Executive Producer on this project.
Stuck hits theaters this week on April 19.
It’s rated PG-13.
